One of the real problems in modern life is that people who are good at being civil lack strong convictions and people who have strong convictions lack civility.

Psalm 85 says, “Steadfast love and faithfulness meet; righteousness and peace kiss each other.” As we go forth today, may we go in love, in faithfulness, in righteousness, and in peace. Amen.
