Rebecca Manley Pippert

Rebecca Manley Pippert is an influential Christian author, speaker, and evangelist, widely known for her work in equipping believers to share their faith and live out their Christian convictions in a world that is increasingly secular. With a heart for both personal discipleship and outreach, Pippert’s ministry has impacted thousands of individuals worldwide, helping them engage with others about the gospel with authenticity and boldness.

Pippert is the author of several books, including Out of the Saltshaker and Into the World, a seminal work on evangelism that has been widely praised for its practical and relational approach to sharing the Christian faith. In this book, Pippert challenges Christians to see evangelism not as a program or an event, but as a natural outflow of their everyday lives, grounded in relationships and authentic conversations. Her writing emphasizes the importance of listening, understanding, and building bridges in a culture that often feels hostile to the gospel.

In addition to her books, Pippert is a frequent speaker at conferences and churches, where she shares her personal experiences of witnessing to others, leading with compassion, and engaging the secular world with truth. She is also deeply involved in the ministry of The Labyrinth, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals discover their purpose and engage in meaningful community service.

Pippert holds a degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and has served as a faculty member at The Navigators and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. She and her husband, Dick, have been involved in ministry for many years and have two adult children.

Through her writing, speaking, and personal example, Rebecca Manley Pippert continues to inspire Christians to live out the calling to be witnesses for Christ in an increasingly complex and divided world.
