Nicole Vogel

Pastor Nicole “Nicki” Vogel grew up in the Pennsylvania woods, where her love for God’s creation first took root. Raised with Pennsylvania Dutch traditions, she learned to cook at a young age and still occasionally slips a Dutchie phrase into conversation.

Nicki earned her B.A. in Psychology from Moravian College in 2003 and worked in mental health and elder care before surviving two brain surgeries that changed the course of her life. Realizing God was calling her into ministry, she entered Moravian Theological Seminary, graduating in 2018 with a Master of Divinity and the Dean Scholarship for academic excellence.

She began serving East Stroudsburg Presbyterian Church as a student minister and was called as pastor in 2018, later ordained in March 2019. A grateful cancer survivor, Pastor Nicki is passionate about building meaningful relationships, connecting faith with daily life, and encouraging collaboration in ministry. She was a leader in forming a shared ministry partnership among local Presbyterian congregations and is also active in interfaith dialogue through her work with the area’s Interfaith Council.

She and her husband Christopher have been married 20 years and are the proud parents of two.
