Louie Giglio

Louie Giglio is a pastor, author, and visionary leader best known as the founder of Passion Conferences, a global movement that has inspired millions of young adults to live for the glory of God. With a passion for helping people discover their identity in Christ, Giglio has become a prominent voice in Christian ministry, known for his engaging preaching, creative vision, and heart for worship.

Born on June 30, 1958, in Atlanta, Georgia, Giglio graduated from Georgia State University. He later earned a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and pursued graduate studies at Baylor University. While at Baylor, Giglio began a Bible study with his wife, Shelley, which grew into a vibrant community of believers. This laid the foundation for the Passion Conferences, launched in 1997.

The Passion movement is centered around the "268 Declaration," inspired by Isaiah 26:8, which emphasizes living for God’s renown. The conferences have drawn tens of thousands of students annually, featuring renowned speakers, worship leaders, and artists such as Chris Tomlin, Hillsong UNITED, and Lecrae. Giglio’s dynamic leadership has made Passion a global phenomenon, spreading the message of God’s glory to more than 70 countries.

In addition to his leadership at Passion, Giglio is the pastor of Passion City Church in Atlanta, a vibrant and growing congregation. He is also the author of several bestselling books, including Don’t Give the Enemy a Seat at Your Table, Goliath Must Fall, and The Comeback. His works encourage readers to trust in God’s power, overcome challenges, and live with purpose.
