Hugh Halter

Hugh Halter is a visionary author, speaker, and church planter who is passionate about helping individuals and communities live out authentic faith in practical, transformative ways. Hugh is the author of several influential books, including The Tangible Kingdom, AND: The Gathered and Scattered Church, Flesh: Bringing the Incarnation Down to Earth, and BIVO: A Modern-Day Guide for Bi-Vocational Saints. His writings challenge traditional church paradigms, inviting readers to rethink how they live out their faith in everyday contexts. Through his creative and practical insights, he encourages people to embody the gospel in tangible ways that make a difference in their neighborhoods and communities.

Hugh has been a leader in the missional church movement, co-founding Adullam, a network of house churches in Denver, Colorado. Later, he and his family moved to Alton, Illinois, where they launched The Lantern Network, a hub for community engagement that integrates spiritual formation with social entrepreneurship. The initiative embodies Hugh's commitment to holistic mission, blending faith, work, and hospitality to serve the common good.
