Craig Groeschel

Craig Groeschel is a renowned pastor, author, and speaker, best known as the founder and senior pastor of Life.Church, one of the largest and most innovative churches in the United States. Born on December 2, 1967, in Houston, Texas, Groeschel grew up in a nominally Christian household but experienced a spiritual transformation during his college years at Oklahoma City University, where he earned a degree in marketing and later met his wife, Amy. He went on to complete a Master of Divinity from Phillips Theological Seminary.

In 1996, Groeschel and a small group of friends launched Life Covenant Church (now Life.Church) in a two-car garage in Edmond, Oklahoma. Under his leadership, the church has grown into a multi-campus ministry with dozens of locations across the U.S. and a significant global online presence. Life.Church is widely recognized for its creative approach to ministry, technological innovation, and commitment to sharing the gospel. It is perhaps best known for creating the YouVersion Bible App, which has been downloaded by hundreds of millions of users worldwide.
