Let me share one more lesson I am learning about daily surrender. It concerns the way we relate to others. Daily we encounter people who express views opposite to our own, hold values with which we cannot identify, and behave in ways different from how we live.
Sometimes this can happen in our closest relationships. Often we want to straighten the other person out, fix them up, and tell them what they need to do. When they do not cooperate, we may get angry and frustrated. If we are wise, it will begin to dawn on us…
