One day, a father bought his little boy some French fries. The father, doing what any dad would do, reaches over and moves to take one of the fries off of his kid’s plate. The little boy screams, slaps his father’s hand away, and says, “These French fries are mine! Don’t touch them!” Any bystander with common sense can see the absurdity of the boy’s claim. The father bought the entire plate of fries and gave them as a gift. Surely, taking a fry off the top is more than fair.
