In most western societies, what do people think of when you say "armor of God"?
I wouldn't be surprised if the image that comes to mind is the kind of plate armor you see in movies about the Middle Ages. You know the kind, a big metal helmet covering the whole face with a little slit to see through, a single-piece breastplate, steel gauntlets, and the like. Maybe with a big lance and shield. Sound familiar? (Note: there's a lot of myths about this armor, see note.)
