Born in England and raised in Hong Kong, he brings a rich, international perspective to his pastoral work. Over the years, he has served in diverse ministry roles, including missionary work in Australia with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and pastoral leadership in churches in Westminster and Irvine, California.

Gabe’s academic background reflects his commitment to theological excellence and practical ministry. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Seattle Pacific University and both a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) from Fuller Theological Seminary. This strong educational foundation informs his teaching and equips him to guide others in their spiritual growth.

At the heart of Gabe’s ministry is a passion for discipleship. He is dedicated to helping people trust and follow Jesus in every area of life and equipping them to share their faith with others. His relational approach emphasizes fostering authentic Christian community, encouraging spiritual growth, and empowering individuals to live out their faith in practical ways.

Gabe is married to Maribeth, his partner in life and ministry. Together, they are raising two children, Matthew and Amy, with whom they share a commitment to faith, family, and service. As a family, they model the values Gabe seeks to cultivate in his church—a life of connection, discipleship, and love for others.

Gabe’s leadership combines theological depth, cultural awareness, and practical wisdom, making his ministry impactful both locally and globally. His calling to lead and inspire others continues to shape the community at Spectrum Church Irvine and beyond.
