a brief introduction

I would like to start with a rather big question. How do we know that we are, in fact, Christians? We find some direction from Jesus on this subject in Matthew 7. Jesus warns his disciples about false prophets, but he also says that his disciples should be able to recognize true believers, who “will be know by their fruits.” In other words, there ought to be a connection between our faith (and our discipleship) and the way in which we live our lives. And I think this passage from 2 Corinthians 5 gives us an insight into what a Christian faith and life looks like.
