Prayers of Confession on the Way

Adapted from Psalm 25:4-5 (NIV)

O Lord,

Show us your ways, Lord,

Teach us your paths.

Guide us in your truth and teach us,

for you are God my Savior,

and my hope is in you all day long.

Adapted from Psalm 119:33-37

Teach us, O Lord, the way of your statutes;
and we will keep it to the end.
Give us understanding, that we may keep your law
and observe it with our whole hearts.
Lead us in the path of your commandments,
for we delight in it.
Incline our hearts to your testimonies,
and not to selfish gain!
Turn our eyes from looking at worthless things;
and give us life in your ways.
Lead us in the path of eternal life
Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
