Holy and just Lord, we come before you today guilty. Guilty of reducing Jesus in our minds and hearts. At times we make him our personal savior, forgetting that his love and mercy are for all tongues, tribes, and nations. At other times, we make Jesus into a symbol for our personal crusades, ignoring the ways you want our hearts to be changed in favor of blaming others for the problems of this world.
