Lord God, we acknowledge that your Word

Lord God, we acknowledge that your Word is full of living power. It is sharper than the sharpest knife, cutting deep into our innermost thoughts and desires. Your Word exposes us for what we really are. So with great awe and humility we bow before your Word. Speak to us, convict us, cleanse us, and equip us to obey your will. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
