Lord God, in your creation and in your Son, you have given us every good thing. You have given us beauty, the warmth of friendships, the blessings of food and shelter. In Jesus, you have given us life and the knowledge what God is like. But we have neglected your gifts and used them for our own selfish ends. We have ignored real signs of your presence and regarded your calls to radical discipleship as trivial.
Forgive us, O Lord.
Open our eyes to see where you are at work. Strengthen our wills to bear witness to your work in the world. Give us the perseverance to run the race…
