I am the resurrection and the life (Modern)

I am the resurrection and the life, says the Lord;
whoever believes in me, even if they die, they will yet live;
whoever lives and believes in me will never die.

I know that my Redeemer lives,
and that, in the end, he will stand upon the earth;
and though this body be destroyed, yet I will see God;
whom I shall see for myself and my eyes will behold,
and not as a stranger.

For none of us lives to ourselves,
and we do not die to ourselves.
For if we live, we live unto the Lord.
and if we die, we die unto the Lord.
