Hear my prayer, O Lord

Pastor: Hear my prayer, O Lord;
People: listen to my cry for mercy.
Pastor: In the day of my trouble I will call to You,
People: for You will answer me.

Pastor: God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
People: Be still, and know that I am God.

Pastor: Because Your loving kindness is better than life,
People: my lips will glorify You.
Pastor: Because You are my help
People: I sing in the shadow of Your wings.

Pastor: Restore to me the joy of Your salvation
People: and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me.

Pastor: Teach me Your way, O Lord, and I will walk in Your truth;
People: give me an undivided heart, that I may fear Your name.
Pastor: I will praise You, O Lord, my God, with all my heart;
People: I will glorify Your name forever.

People: may those who love Your salvation always say. “Let God be exalted.”
