the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

Psalm 20:1-5 (NLT)

In times of trouble, may the Lord answer your cry. May the name of the God of Jacob keep you safe from all harm. May he send you help from his sanctuary and strengthen you from Jerusalem. May he remember all your gifts and look favorably on your burnt offerings. May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed. May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory and raise a victory banner in the name of our God. May the Lord answer all your prayers.

Psalm 32:11

In the words of Psalm 32:11, go forth today and “Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart.”

Cody Sandahl

Psalm 34:19-22

Many are the affliction of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of them all. He keeps all of their bones; not one of them is broken. Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned. Go now in this assurance in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Amen!

Psalm 37:3-6

Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Take delight in the Lord,

trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun.

Psalm 85

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

Go in peace.

Amen

Isaiah 61:11 and Numbers 6:24-26

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. You go nowhere by accident.

Wherever you go, God is sending you.
Wherever you are, God has put you there.
God has a purpose in your being right where you are.
Christ, who indwells you by the power of his Spirit,
wants to do something in and through you.
Believe this and go in his grace, his love, his power.
In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Amen

there will be peace in the world.
So let it be.

Allen Thompson

Inspired by Hebrews 10:21-25

Since we have a great priest over the house of God,

let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings,

having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,

not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing,

but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
