Adapted from multiple scriptures on Light and Darkness

Leader: Jesus said to them, "The light is among you for a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you."

People: Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.

Leader: "The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going."

People: For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you.

Leader: "While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become children of light."

People: And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

Leader: Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

People: Then you shall see and be radiant; The sun shall be no more your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give you light; but the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.
