Third Sunday in Lent Romans 5:1-11

Paul says that this has all happened at “just the right time.” Is that something hard to understand? Does it always seem that God’s timing is just right? What areas of life are the hardest for us to be patient about?

Hard work is held up as a core value in society, leading us to think we should get what we deserve. Does that ideal make it hard to accept the gospel message that grace is underserved?

Even if we can accept God’s grace easily, do we find it hard to turn around and act graciously to others?
