Calls To Worship

Teaching

 Adapted from Psalm 25:4-5

 Show us your ways, O Lord.

Teach us your paths

Guide us in your truth,

And teach us.

For you are God, our Savior,

And our hope is in you all day long.

Adapted from Psalm 86

Leader: Come, Let us worship.

People:  Teach us Your ways, O Lord, that we may walk in Your truth; give us undivided hearts to revere Your name.

Leader:  We give thanks to You, O Lord our God, and we will glorify Your name forever.

PeopleFor Your love is great towards us; …You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.

Leader:  Let us worship, let us praise, let us give thanks!

Adapted from Psalm 111

Leader:    Praise the Lord.

I will extol the Lord with all my heart

People:     In the council of the upright and in the assembly.

Leader:     Great are the works of the Lord;

People:     They are pondered by all who delight in them.

Leader:     Glorious and majestic are his deeds,

People:     And his righteousness endures forever.

Leader:     He has caused his wonders to be remembered;

People:     The Lord is gracious and compassionate.

Leader:     He provides food for those who fear him;

People:     He remembers his covenant forever.

Leader:     He has shown his people the power of his works,

People:     Giving them the lands of other nations.

Leader:     The works of his hands are faithful and just;

People:     All his precepts are trustworthy.

Leader:     They are steadfast for ever and ever,

People:     Done in faithfulness and uprightness.

Leader:     He provided redemption for his people;

People:     He ordained his covenant forever –

                   Holy and awesome is his name.

Adapted from 2 Timothy 2:2

And the things you have heard me say

In the presence of many witnesses

Entrust to reliable people

Who will also be qualified to teach others.

Lord, as we worship you today, empower us to pass on what you have done in us to others.
