Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,

Who walk according to the law of the Lord.

Blessed are those who keep his statutes,

And seek God with all their heart.

We will praise you with upright hearts,

As we learn your righteous laws.

Leader: God’s word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

People: God is our hiding place and our shield; let us hope in his word.

Leader: Let our cry come before the Lord, that he might give us understanding according to his word.

All: The Lord exists forever; his word is firmly fixed in heaven. His faithfulness endures to all generations!

Leader:          The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;

                     God’s mercies never come to an end.  

People:        They are new every morning;

                      Great is your faithfulness, O God.

Leader:         The Lord is good to those who wait for him,

                       To the souls that seek God. 

People:       It is good that we should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.

All:               Let us worship God!

The Lord says, 

“I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. 

I will cleanse you from all your impurities and all your idols. 

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you, 

I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 

And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.”
