Adapted from Isaiah 43:10-13 (ESV)

Pastor: “’You are my witnesses,’ declares the LORD, ‘and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me.

All: I, I am the LORD, and besides me there is no savior.

Pastor: I declared and saved and proclaimed, when there was no strange god among you; and you are my witnesses,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I am God.

All: Also henceforth I am he; there is none who can deliver from my hand; I work, and who can turn it back?’”

Responsive Prayer Adapted from John 11

Leader: Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if you would have been here, my brother would not have died. Even now I know that whatever you ask of God, God will give you.

People: Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”

Leader:   Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

People: Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies.  Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?

Leader: Martha replied, “Yes, Lord. I have come to believe that you are the Christ, God’s Son, he who comes into the world.” Now what about us? Do we believe this?

All: We believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, our Lord and our Savior?

Leader: Then let us proclaim this with our singing…

 Adapted from Romans 10:9-10 (NIV)

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’

And believe in your heart that God raised him from dead,

You will be saved.

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified.

And it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”

God of grace, we profess our faith in you. Please show us your grace was we worship you today.
