Love Keeps No Record: A Spiritual Practice of Forgiveness

This time, we are pleased to share a meditation focused on love and forgiveness from Mindy Caliguire.

Most pastors carry hurt from ministry—words that landed wrong, criticism that cut deep, the weight of unmet expectations—not to mention just the ordinary hurts everyone acquires from living in a sinful world.

But storing up hurts threatens our ministry, our relationships, our health, and our relationship with God.

What we love about Mindy's spiritual practice, "Love Keeps No Record," is that it starts with the source. Instead of focusing on the command to forgive, she takes us to the foundation which makes forgiveness so important: love. We enter into our need to forgive through contemplating Paul's beautiful exhortation to love.
