New Site is Live!

Drumroll, please!

That’s where TPW 2.0 comes in. All 3,000 pages of content have been moved to a new database, making it easier than ever for you to quickly find what you need for your next sermon, worship service, Bible study, or however you serve God with the site’s resources (some of you are pretty creative, and we love that). 

We’ve also tripled…yes, tripled our keywords. It will be easier than ever to narrow down your search to the exact angle you are exploring. But what if you’re not sure what you are looking for? Maybe you are looking for inspiration? No problem! You can now type in a scripture passage or a topic and then narrow or broaden your results as you go along using filters. Other search features include searching by author, by broad topic, by keywords, type of resource (quote, illustration, or guide—or even a story versus an analogy), not to mention by liturgy type.

Looking Forward

From day one, the website will feature all of the illustrations, quotes, guides, and liturgy from the old site. To these, we’ve added those new keywords and the ability to search by scripture reference. To put it briefly, everything you’ve loved about TPW is still there. We’ve just made it much easier to find things.

There are things that are good, but will keep getting better. 

• Scripture references: We're adding more references each month, so your scripture search results will continue to improve.

• Keywords: We're using keywords to help you search on the new site. (They used to be themes.) We've added loads of new keywords and continue to do so monthly.

• Index pages: want to browse a page with all of the themes like on the old site? It’s coming. Stay tuned.

• Worship guides: if a holiday is coming soon and we have a worship guide, it’s already on the new site. For more distant holidays, we’re working on them.

• More content: we have more to add, so you'll see more soon!

Wrapping it Up

Again, we are so excited to share what has been a 9-month project to make TPW an even better place to find the worship resources you are looking for. We can’t wait to hear what you think of it. But we also know change isn’t always easy and we will be there to make sure the process is fairly easy.
