With Palm Sunday behind us, we look forward with anticipation to Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter. The events commemorated this week constitute our hope and are the foundation of our faith.
There is a lot of pressure on pastors as Lent winds down and Easter dawns. We can get lost in the busy-ness and feel like we're putting on a "show," rather than entering into the great mysteries we celebrate ourselves.
We pray that you find the opportunity to reflect on the meaning of this week yourself and holding onto Jesus, "to the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God."
If you're working on your sermons and services, we have sermon and service resources to explore.
