An End to Waiting

Advent is all about waiting. But the waiting is almost over. Christmas is almost here. The church is decorated, the songs have been picked, and the prayers selected. The sermon is done (but maybe you'll keep tinkering with it, to get it just right).

Right now, though... the sanctuary is empty, except for expectation.

For pastors, there is a lot of work to come—holy work, but work nonetheless—but we hope you find rest over Christmas—for even the busiest pastor to find a little space for some coffee or cocoa, a cozy fire, and a comfy chair, to bask in joy of the Incarnation of our savior. To that end, we'd like to gift you with a reflection this week, a sort of visio divina . . .
