Mark Roberts
Dr. Mark D. Roberts is a Senior Strategist for Fuller’s Max De Pree Center for Leadership, where his work focuses on fostering the spiritual development and flourishing of leaders. With a deep commitment to helping individuals integrate their faith with their professional lives, Mark is also the principal writer of the daily devotional Life for Leaders, a resource that offers encouragement and wisdom for those navigating the complexities of leadership. Additionally, he founded the De Pree Center's Flourishing in the Third Third of Life initiative, which seeks to help individuals in the later stages of life thrive personally, professionally, and spiritually.
Before his current role at Fuller Seminary, Mark served as the Executive Director of the De Pree Center and as the lead pastor of a church in Southern California. He also spent time in Texas as the Senior Director of Laity Lodge, where he worked to develop spiritual renewal programs for leaders. Mark’s extensive experience in both pastoral ministry and leadership development has allowed him to uniquely address the intersection of faith, leadership, and personal growth.
An accomplished author, Mark has written eight books, dozens of articles, and over 2,500 daily devotions aimed at helping people see the difference God makes in their everyday life and leadership. His scholarly background includes a Ph.D. in New Testament from Harvard, and he currently teaches at Fuller Seminary, most recently in his Doctor of Ministry cohort on Faith, Work, Economics, and Vocation.
Mark is married to Linda, a marriage and family counselor, spiritual director, and executive coach. Together, they have two grown children who are both educators. Through his writing, teaching, and personal ministry, Dr. Mark Roberts continues to be a trusted voice for leaders seeking to live out their faith with purpose and integrity in the marketplace and beyond.
